Richglen officially opens custom Dozer Drive premises

Richglen celebrated a major milestone with the official opening of its new headquarters at Dozer Drive, Paget, marking the occasion with a staff gathering and the ceremonial ribbon-cutting. Managing Director Matt Borg, along with shareholders Michael Rossi, Guy Roberts, and Damien Friederichs, joined the Richglen team to officially declare the new office and workshop open.

This new, custom-built facility is a fitting tribute to Richglen’s 10 years of remarkable growth. What started in 2014 with Matt Borg, a Hilux ute, and a toolbox has expanded exponentially over the past decade.

Richglen’s first premises was established about 18 months after Matt launched the business. In June 2015, Mackay construction company Seaforth Civil was hired to fence off an acre and create a workshop area on Matt’s farm at Habana. Just a few months later, the company signed a lease for its first office at Shop 2, Mangrove Road, Mackay.

As the business rapidly grew, so did its space requirements. In September 2017, Richglen moved to a larger workshop and office at Elvin Street, Paget.

By March 2021, with continued expansion, Richglen purchased a 5500-square-metre block at Dozer Drive, Paget, planning a new, bespoke facility to meet its evolving needs. During this period, the company also expanded into additional office spaces on Boundary Road, Paget.

In May 2023, Richglen enlisted Mackay construction firm Fergus Builders to construct the new facility at 30–34 Dozer Drive. By July 2024, the building was completed, and in August, the team proudly relocated to their new home. The opening festivities featured drinks, nibbles, speeches, and the cutting of the ceremonial ribbon, celebrating this significant achievement and the company’s ongoing success.
