A brekky cook-up for a cause at Richglen

Richglen marked R U OK? Day 2024 with a barbecue breakfast and morning tea, hosted by our HSEQ team. On the menu were bacon and egg burgers with hash browns, followed by R U OK? Day cupcakes and a selection of cakes.

HSEQ Manager Chris Carleton spoke about the importance of asking "Are you OK?" and emphasised that asking twice can lead to more honest responses. Chris highlighted the value of looking out for each other in our supportive workplace.

R U OK? Day, held annually on the second Thursday of September, aims to promote mental health awareness and encourage meaningful conversations. At Richglen, we are proud to be part of this initiative and to celebrate R U OK? Day by actively engaging in conversations that matter.

Our barbecue breakfast and morning tea were not just about sharing a meal, but about strengthening the bonds within our team and reminding each other to keep watch on the wellbeing of our work mates.
